# Macro Index

> Neutral, cited reference of central-bank policy rates, decision calendars and the issuer pages that publish each decision: 21 central banks plus inflation releases (Eurostat flash HICP, Destatis CPI). Facts and calendars only: no forecasts, odds or opinions. Data CC BY 4.0, © MC² Ventures: credit Macro Index and link to the site.

Key rule: a decision is a fact only once observed=true (its statement opened on the bank's own page). A calendar date is an expectation. Use check_question (MCP) before asking or settling a question about a decision; it refuses one that has not been observed. A source settles only when resolvable=true: its reads total at least 5 right and 0 wrong.

## Government bond auctions
Facts only, read from each issuer's own calendar and result files; data as of 2026-10-07T21:56:32Z (dataset 2026-10-07.44e07963); no forecasts or expected yields. closeAt is the bidding deadline in UTC (the moment a market on the auction closes). A result (yield, bid-to-cover, allotted) is set only once the issuer has published it; check_question refuses an auction that has not been held. Results by tenor never mix instruments (pass instrument to /v1/auctions/history). Italy: the Treasury forbids deep links, so our pages show its URLs as text.
